    [Guide?] How to update GWDatBrowser

this is the old gw1 dat browser updated for the gw2 archive.
change the path of the archive in "path.txt" to run it.
tested with archive version 0x97 and 0x98.

i only updated the decompression - nothing with the filetypes, so some textures and all(?) soundfiles can only be viewed as binary text instead if a preview.
the previewable textures are "ATEXDXT1", "ATEXDXT5", "ATEXDXTL".

it can only decompress files with a decompressed size lower than 65kb.

im done with it, so if anyone wants to improove it i have attached the source and here some info:
actual decompression function can be found with the referenced string "state->input". this is the one i essentially ported to code in "rafi.cpp".
to get files above 65kb working, you will have to look at the function above which calls it in a loop, because this function only processes chunks of 65kb

Uploaded the client for those that don't have it yet. You can -image, but it's pointless since the client downloads all files automatically.

So this doesn't handle files larger than 65kb?

Because I've had the same problem trying to port my decompressor.

I have read that you can force uncompressed dl but i didnt even bother with my horrible connection. Also it was a good exercise.
Kurzick is right - i skip all files above 10000h uncompressed size because it will run into heap corruptions.

To download decompressed (like ACB mentioned) search for /compressed and blank that out with 0x00. All the files in your dat file will be stored without compression.
